Keepsake
-"the things i would say"
This is without a doubt the best record released on Eulogy Rec. Keepsake combines soft melodic emo with that special "floridian" metal sound, which also can be found on certain other cds on Eulogy. I wouldn't say that this is emo-metal, it's emo with a lot of metal influences, and it's so incredible fuckin great. The day I recieved this record, I listened to it at least four times, and it just gets better every time you listen to it. Eulogy Recordings

Kickback-"forever war" Did anyone say Merauder? Well, no, but Kickback plays NYHC in the vein of the big M. Only with a bit more rougher & screamier voice than leadsinger in Merauder. The lyrics are heavily influented by Brian of Catharsis. Soon to release a split cd with Arkangel on our favourite record company, Good Life Recordings! Kingfisher

Kill Holiday
-"somewhere between wrong is right"

The drummer and second guitarist from Unbroken doing the emo/pop thing, and yeah, they do it well. Revelation should be proud of this release. I hear a HUGE Smiths-influence in the music and vocals, but this is "richer" in terms of production and songwriting. It sounds very "British" at times, but I guess it's because of the Smiths-influence (I'd say there's also some Suede-influences). In case you didn't get it, this record is excellent - it's not emo, it's even softer than that. Now buy it and dress up in tight dark clothes and trousers with shorter legs (not shorts you moron) and be a popnerd instead of a tuffguy for a night. Find out what it feels like to shake your head and not headbang for a while, to tap your feet and not mosh. I think I'm gonna cry... Revelation Records
