Catharsis-"samsara" The microphone in Catharsis is being abused by Brian from Inside Front, and his voice combined with highly intelligent and provocative lyrics and some of the most extreme music ever performed by a hardcore/metalband provides the ultimate listening experience. Anyone who have ever read Inside Front knows how Brian's mind works and Catharsis is basically his thoughts transformed into poetry and music. Violent, brutal, sick, and just as fantastic as it is scary. Ah, just buy it. (Vinyl version released, and now sold out on Good Life Recordings) Crimethinc

Congress-"angry with the sun" I liked the first full-length record that was released with Congress (blackened persistance), but when I put the new record in my stereo, I was really dissapointed. Instead of developing, they have taken a step back with this record. The "Angry with the sun" record sounds like a bad version of Slayer, and when Josh (lead-guitars) begins to sing, itīs time to hit the eject button. Also available as, LP, color-LP, picture-LP and digipack-CD. Good Life Recordings

Converge
-"when forever comes crashing"
Converge has gone even crazier than ever before, and that makes this piece of art one of my favourite records. Angry weird sung metallic chaos with lots of twisted riffs and drums. Also included is an easylistenable emo-song. Equal Vision Records

Converge-"caring and killing" Chaotic screamy hardcore with a member from Ten Yard Fight is what Converge is about. Formerly released by Lost & Fucked, but re-released by HydraHead Records. The record contains compilation- and demo songs which are usually hard to find. Not as good as "petitioniong the empty sky", but still worth buying. Hydra Head Records

Culture-"born of you" This record was released some years ago by Conquer the World Records, and the Culture guys became very unhappy, when they found out that their label had ripped them of. That is why this record is re-released on Good Life Recordings. About the music then; this is a classic of florida hardcore, although this one isn't half as good as their "deforestation" MCD (also released on GLR). The music is untight, and Damien doesn't scream that good. This album shows you how Culture sounded in their early days. Good Life Recordings
