| Deformity-"the misanthrope" | Pure EEEVVVIIILLL!!! This is really fast death-metal, and good it is. The singer in Deformity used to play in the edgemetal act called Regression, one of the few good edgemetal bands in Belgium. But Deformity doesn´t sound anything like Regression. Weird lyrics about serialkillers and alien abductions together with weird music and an extreme desparate voice to go with it. | Deftones-"around the fur" | OK, this isn't really a hardcoreband or anything, but hey, they rule and I decide what's good and what sucks around here, so you just don't have a say about this - if you don't like this, too bad. Emotional yet really agressive metal with a screaming vocalist sounding a bit like a mix between good old Dennis in Refused and Rasaraj Das in 108 but so much better and absolutely NOT your average metalstuff. This is just real awesome. And damn, I want to scream/sing like Chino...By the way, Chino does some vocals on Will to die on Strife's newest album...I bet their live CD rules. | Maverick Records | USA |

Probably the best band together with Deformity to emerge from the land where H8000 rules. DV8 is NOT H8000. DV8 plays NYHC, almost like Madball only a bit heavier and with more brutal vocals than an average NY band. Madball singer Freddie Cricien can be heard on one song, and you can imagine how it sounds when two of the best NYHC singers screams together.
